Language and Culture
People from many cultures speak French – from Abidjan to Paris from Montreal to St. Martin. At Le Petit Village, French is our first language. We sing, dance, play, learn and interact in French. Arts and crafts, music, literature and hands-on learning activities that reflect these multi-cultures are a cornerstone of our program. And every day, Gboungué, the school's Director, along with Teachers' assistants Liliane and Jean-Félix share their own rich, multicultural background and approach with the students and families of Le Petit Village.
At Le Petit Village, we eat nutritious snacks and meals and exercise daily to nourish our minds and fuel our bodies. We serve primarily whole and minimally processed foods and buy locally grown, organic produce and proteins as often as possible.
Movement and Play
Exercise and fresh air are important at Le Petit Village.
Our activities include: stretching and playing in our own
fenced-in outdoor play area, kicking the soccer ball,
riding bikes, playing "cache-cache" and taking walks
together in our neighborhood. There is also lots of open
indoor space for laughter and play at Le Petit Village.
